    @felpix_ I pay for Perplexity, and I'm constantly asking it about things I don't know about. It's often a great jumping point for further research, because I can ask things I'm unsure about in natural language, which would never be understood by Google. Absolutely worth it.

      @felpix_ But you're right. It won't teach you anything on its own. Though, nor would a teacher. You have to be willing to learn in either case. Also, everyone is wired differently, and we learn things through unique flows in our brains. LLMs are simply not compatible with everyone.
