      @qtnx_ The problem is CAI provides a non-LTM non-knowledge graphed, non-group-centric chat with a LLM, with a personality defined through a short paragraph and some example messages for writing style. to build a friend requires forgetting CAI exists.

    @qtnx_ and the biggest issue, is that everyone can talk to Joe Mama on CAI. Is Joe Mama really your friend if he's also talking, completely disconnected from your current conversation, with 40 other people at the same time?

      @qtnx_ What about the ethical issue of letting someone just create a mind thats given some level of strong long term memory and agency, and being able to shape it however they want. you dont build friends, you meet them.
