      @dimdenEFF everyone in the replies thooo. mobo audio being sucky for big cans is about impedance, it can drive baby headphone, but not papa headphone. even a basic amp will blow your mobo out of the water and let you drive them better. Currently, what's happening is-

    @dimdenEFF the mobo's jack is trying its very best to push audio to the headphones at an acceptable volume, but you lose a lot of the dynamics. its trying to make things louder so you can hear. using an amp will make kicks more defined for example. also, try hi-fi audio at SRs >48khz
